I try to keep an open mind about fan death, but I am automatically
biased. I did not grow up in Korean culture being taught about the
evils of fans. I was only introduced later in life when my mind was
much more skeptical and stubborn. For the benefit of discussion I
will allow the possibility that it is true. |

Science Doesn't Explain Everything |

I may be skeptical of fan death, but I can equally be skeptical about
the marvels of science. Science has not explained everything in the
world and there still may be things we cannot explain. |

Just because we cannot explain it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
People survived millions of years before air and gravity were given
theories and a name. |

It is possible for one small group of people to know something the
rest of the world hasn’t discovered, yet. Swallow your Western
pride and believe that you do not know everything. |

The media continues to report fan deaths. These are educated police
and journalists, why would they spread lies or mislead the public. |

Even professionals, like doctors, warn of the dangers of fan death.
